Jikela Studios is a new-age cutting-edge music school that empowers future creative leaders through programs in art, culture, entrepreneurship, and career development.
Our purpose is to provide youth with the creative skills and knowledge they need to seize entrepreneurial opportunities. We equip young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with a solid foundation for progress and help them access income-generating opportunities. Jikela Studios mentors individuals aged 16-26 years and is based in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, South Africa, and surrounding townships.

OUR PROGRESS
Dee Koala, an artist under our development program, won the prestigious SAHHA (South African Hip Hop Award) for Best Female in 2020.
Successfully registered JIKELA STUDIOS as a Non-Profit Organization with the Department of Social Development.
Executive produced ‘SimulationRxps’ acclaimed album ‘Live From eLokshin’.
